Greenpoint. The northern stop is at Greenpoint & Manhattan Avenue
(with an entrance at India Street, to the North). The Southern stop is at
Nassau & Manhattan Avenue (with an entrance at
Norman Avenue, to the North). The nearest connecting trains to Manhattan are the L train, the 7

- To ride in from Manhattan on the
L Train, transfer to the G at Lorimer Street in Brooklyn. Exit the L
Train and walk to the right, down the ramp and past the turnstiles. If you need postage
stamps, the kiosk there sells them. The Queens bound G line
for Greenpoint is to the left, downstairs. Be advised that the G train is
three cars shorter than the platform.
- To connect with the L
train to 14th street, enter on the West side of Manhattan Avenue in
Greenpoint, and take the Smith - 9th streets bound G.
Note: West is the opposite side of Manhattan Avenue from St. Anthony's church. Transfer to
the Manhattan bound L at Metropolitan Avenue. Note: Metropolitan
Avenue is also called Lorimer Street on the L Line.
- The 7 train runs along 42nd Street, with
stops at Times
Square, Bryant Park and Grand
Central Station. Every subway line running North and South on Manhattan connects
to the 7 train, excluding the A and C trains. If you need
to catch the A or C, use the E.

Boulevard stop on the 7 line. Exit the train and take a left (walking with the train). After the turnstile, stay left. Walk straight ahead
to 49th street, and take a right at the bridge entrance. If you exit elsewhere, follow Vernon or Jackson until 49th street,
and take a right. On the bridge, notice the 10 light boxes that have photographs of the Keyspan gas tank implosions of 2001.
- To get to the 7 Train from Greenpoint,
head North across the Pulaski Bridge, to Queens. To get to the bridge from
Manhattan Avenue, walk North on Manhattan Avenue until Ash Street. At Ash Street, take a

biking across the bridge from Manhattan Ave., turn right at or before Eagle Street, so
as to catch the bridge before it leaves ground.
